A guide to your private gallery
We have been out and had a great session together, now you are desperate to see the finished images. This guide will help you navigate your private gallery once that all exciting email arrives in your inbox.
Step 1: The invitation to your gallery.
Once I have finished editing your pet's session you will receive a link to access your gallery via email. This will be sent to the email address you provide me in your questionnaire so make sure it is one you check regularly.
Your email will look something like this.
Before you get all excited and leap straight into the gallery, it is important to note the expiration date included in the email. This is the date when the gallery will expire and you will no longer have access to view your images. This means that any purchases or downloads need to be completed before this date. If for whatever reason you need more time with your gallery, please drop me a message and I can arrange an extension for you.
To access your gallery just press the View Gallery button at the top of the email.
Step 2: Logging in
When you try to access your gallery you will be asked to enter an email address. Anyone can access the gallery if you share the link with them. The reason behind the email address is it allows me to view visitors interactions with the gallery.
Please log onto the gallery using the same email address that I have on file for you. This is because you will be set up as the Linked Contact for the gallery which will give you special rights.
Step 3: The Gallery
This is the gallery view, you will see a grid view of all of your images. If you hover over any of the images, a little white menu bar comes up with 2 or 3 icons. The star icon is for you to favourite your best images. This is great feedback for me to see which images you like best. The shopping cart icon will open up the shop menu for you to buy that image as either prints, wall art or as a digital download. The last icon with the arrow is the download option. If you have prepaid for any digitals, or you get complimentary downloads with your session, this icon is how you claim them. This icon will only be visible to you as the linked contact which is why it is important to log in using your email address exactly as you gave it to me.
The menu in the top right gives you different options to view and buy your images. If you click the Compare Photos button it will allow you to select 2 images and then show them to you side by side. This is a great option if you are struggling to decide between 2 images and don't want to keep clicking back and forth to view them.
The Slideshow option will play through all of the images in your gallery in full screen mode so you can sit back and enjoy your images without clicking through each one. This can be paused or closed at any time throughout the slideshow.
The Buy Package button will show you all the packages available to buy. Packages are collections of both digitals and artwork which offer a saving compared to being purchased separately. If you click Select on one of the packages, the package builder will open. This will allow you to select the images you would like to use for both the digital files and artwork.
Just put a tick in the top left corner of the image you would like to select, then click the + in one of the boxes on the right hand side to add that image to that box. The boxes will be split into 2 sections, one section will be for the digital downloads included in the package, and the next will be for the artwork included. Be sure to double check you have the right images in the right section before confirming, once paid for, the digital files will be automatically emailed to you and you cannot swap images once this is done.
Step 4: The Shop
Alternatively you can view your images manually by clicking on the preview. This will bring up a bigger preview and you can switch to the next or previous images by clicking the arrows or using the arrow keys on your keyboard.
If you wish to purchase an image, you can click the Buy Photo button in the top right of the screen. This will open the shop menu.
The menu will open on the Packages tab, if you wish to buy individual items, just click the Items tab (highlighted green above). The next row down will be a menu of the available products. When you click on a product you will get a list of the available options or sizes and the price. If you click the little arrow on the right or a product you will be able to get more information, crop the image to fit and add items to your basket.
*Important Note for Multi Image products
Some of the Wall Art options may be multi image pieces. Unfortunately the shop does not recognise this. If you wish to buy one of these products, please select one of the images you would like to use and purchase your wall art. You can then either add a note to the studio at the checkout containing the names of the other images you would like included, or just wait and I will be in touch with you to discuss the design of your Wall Art before I place the order.
If there are any discounts available, you can view the discounts by clicking on the Show Discounts button in the shop menu. Discounts that appear in this drop down list will be applied automatically once the criteria is met.
If you have a discount code from one of my brand reps, you will have the opportunity to enter that code either in your basket or at the checkout and your discount will then be applied.
Step 5: Checkout
Once you have added everything you want to your basket, it is time to head to the checkout. This section is pretty self explanatory and similar to most other online store check outs. You will be asked for some information such as name, address and telephone number. Any additional postage costs will be automatically applied, these only apply to physical products. There is an option to add a note to the studio, feel free to use this to let me know of your preferences for frame colours etc if you know. Even if you forget to add in this information, don't worry, if I need any further information to order your product I will get in touch with you. If you have a promo code that you have not yet used, make sure you enter this by clicking Add Promo Code on the right hand side. Make sure you tick the T&C's box and then click Pay with Paypal. If you don't have a Paypal account, don't panic, you can also pay with your card by entering your details.
And that's it! It is as simple as that to purchase beautiful images and artwork from your Emma Bibby Photography experience.
